Dr. Milind Siddhpura – Course Coordinator & Senior Lecturer, School of Mechanical Engineering.
Dr Milind Siddhpura has gained over 20 years of substantial & internationally significant experience as a mechanical engineer, academic, researcher & consultant in top Australian and overseas organizations & universities. He has accomplished a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia (UWA) & has won many prestigious awards. He has published articles & served as a reviewer, keynote speaker & guest editor in international journals/conferences.
Dr Arti Siddhpura – Course Coordinator & Senior Lecturer, School of Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Arti is a distinguished academic with over 18 years of rich experience in educating students across various Mechanical Engineering domains at esteemed institutions in Australia and abroad. With a profound expertise in crafting and delivering Mechanical Engineering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, she excels in synchronous and asynchronous teaching methodologies, rooted in sound adult learning theories.
Dr Aravinthan Arumugam – Unit Coordinator and Unit Lecturer, School of Mechanical Engineering.
Aravinthan Arumugam has 19 years of experiences spread between industrial practice, engineering consultancy, research and development and academia. He obtained his BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering (1st Class Honours) and PhD in Engineering from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. Aravinthan is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers IMechE (UK) , Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and a Fellow with Advance HE, United Kingdom.
Dr Igor Shufrin – Course Coordinator and Lecturer, School of Civil and Structural Engineering.
Dr Shufrin has a broad academic and engineering experience in Civil and Structural Engineering. Igor started his career as a Civil engineer and worked in construction industry for several years in Russia. He was awarded a PhD in Structural Engineering from Technion- Israel Institute of Technology in 2007 and then moved to Australia to continue his research career at the University of Western Australia (UWA).
Harisinh Parmar – Lab Coordinator and On-Campus Lecturer, School of Mechanical Engineering.
Harisinh is a chemical engineering professional with extensive experience in industry and in academia. Experience in design of a subsea settling tank, CFD modelling of trickle bed reactor for H2S removal in LNG plant and multi-scale modelling of biomass pyrolysis. Interested in application of CFD in various industries for process intensification and optimization.
