Morteza Abdolzadeh, EIT Lecturer and EPCA Energy Advisor
Morteza Abdolzadeh is a dedicated and results-driven mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors. Holding a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in energy conversion, he has led research and industrial projects focused on energy efficiency, energy modeling, and renewable energy integration. His expertise spans engineering design, renewable energy, and sustainable energy solutions, contributing to advancements in both academia and industry.
Previously, Dr. Abdolzadeh served as an Associate Professor in Iran, where he led research initiatives, supervised graduate students, and collaborated with industry partners on energy and decarbonization projects.
Currently based in Perth, Australia, he works as a lecturer at the Engineering Institute of Technology and an energy adviser at Electric Power Conversions Australia (EPCA). His research interests include optimizing battery performance, thermal management systems, and electrification in mining operations. Passionate about bridging the gap between research and industry, he actively engages in designing energy systems, mentoring students, and developing decarbonization strategies. His work aims to drive sustainable engineering solutions and foster impactful collaborations across the energy and mining sectors.
