Panelists:

Indumathi V -Deputy dean

Leading the panel discussion is Indumathi V, EIT’s Deputy Dean

Indumathi V is an experienced Chartered Professional Engineer with over 20 years in electrical and electronics engineering, education, and leadership. Holding a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and an MBA, Indumathi is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Management. Passionate about empowering women and girls in STEM, she actively mentors and is pursuing a Ph.D. focusing on data analytics in education using EEG sensors.

Jillian Formentin, Head of Engineering APAC West at Wood and Australian Professional Engineer of the Year 2024

Jillian Formentin is an engineering leader known for delivering complex projects on time and within budget. As Head of Engineering at Wood for WA, NT, and Asia, she leads a team focused on delivering innovative engineering solutions. A passionate advocate for sustainability and safety, Jillian was honored as Australian Professional Engineer of the Year (2024) and serves as a Governance Board Director for EIT.

 

Indrasen Naidoo, Managing Partner at ISN Advisory and Partner at JAF Solutions

With 25 years of experience in organizational and supply chain transformation, Indrasen Naidoo leverages his dual expertise in finance and industrial engineering to drive system design and performance. He specializes in applying systems thinking through a human-centric lens, with a focus on business model reframing and the use of data and technology. Indrasen has held leadership roles in industries ranging from transport to finance and is a founding director of the South African Supplier Diversity Council.

Allison Selman, Managing Director at Atteris

With 25 years of global experience in subsea, pipeline, and offshore wind industries, Allison Selman is a seasoned leader in asset lifecycle management. As Managing Director at Atteris, she focuses on asset integrity and the total cost of ownership in greenfield projects. Allison was awarded WA Professional Engineer of the Year in 2019 and is a Principal Consultant for engineering projects.

Pouya Mirjani, Senior Electrical Engineer at Technip Energies Australia 

Pouya Mirjani is a Senior Electrical Engineer with 16+ years of experience in the energy, oil & gas, and steel industries. He specializes in electrical design for both onshore and offshore projects, with expertise in power system modeling using ETAP. A MIEAust Chartered Engineer and AS/NZS 4761 certified EEHA designer, Pouya’s work spans safety-related projects, offshore wind farms, and large-scale green hydrogen plants in Australia.
