About the presenters:
Dr. Milind Siddhpura, EIT Course Coordinator and On-Campus Lecturer – School of Mechanical Engineering
Dr Milind Siddhpura has gained over 20+ years of substantial & internationally significant experience as a mechanical engineer, academic, researcher & consultant in top Australian and overseas organizations & universities. He has accomplished a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia (UWA) & has won many prestigious awards. He has published articles & served as a reviewer, keynote speaker & guest editor in international journals/conferences.
David Gajdus, EIT Student Recruitment Manager
David oversees the EIT course advisor team, the Education Agent network, and industry engagement with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. With a demonstrated history in the higher education industry, he excels in negotiation, business planning, and management, showcasing his leadership skills. A strong business development professional, David is committed to fostering positive relationships and enhancing collaboration across the sector.
Kristin McIntosh, EIT General Manager
With extensive international experience, Kristin McIntosh has successfully managed complex technical operations and led innovation projects across a variety of industries. Now as General Manager at the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT), she applies her technical and leadership skills to support the mission of advancing engineering education. Kristin is passionate about leveraging her industry knowledge to foster the development of future engineers and ensure that education aligns with evolving industry standards.
Ric Harrison, EIT Senior Project Manager
Since graduating from university Ric Harrison has been involved one way or another with education for around 40 years. He has lived in regional WA for 35 of those years and has a grass roots understanding of the challenges involved in studying long distance. He has a wealth of experience in private enterprise and was director of a successful equipment supplier for many years. These days he is a senior project manager at EIT.
