Dr. Fathinia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia, and a PhD in Water Engineering from Edith Cowan University. He joined the School of Engineering at EIT in 2020, where he serves as the Unit Coordinator and Lecturer for both undergraduate and postgraduate units in the Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Dr. Fathinia is a passionate educator, teaching various engineering courses such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Gas Turbines, and Engineering Physics and Materials. He is an advocate of a student-centered, industry-oriented approach to engineering education. In addition to teaching, he has over 10 years of experience working in the water industry.
