Are you ready to relive the charged atmosphere of innovation and connection that occurred at the High Voltage Conference?

Setting the Bar High: Reflections on the Highly Attended and Acclaimed High Voltage Conference.

Amidst a buzz of anticipation, IDC Technologies hosted its 9th Australian High Voltage Conference on the 26th and 27th of July, 2023. Against the vibrant backdrop of Brisbane, this event fostered a blend of valuable insights, networking opportunities, and innovative ideas for the industry.

Specifically tailored for professionals working with high-voltage systems in industries such as mining, industrial plants, oil and gas, and utilities, the conference encompassed a diverse spectrum. From design and testing to installation and maintenance, the discourse seamlessly extended to forthcoming updates in industry standards.

The conference comprehensively dealt with the intricate world of equipment and infrastructure, spotlighting substations, switchgear, transformers, converters, cables, lines, batteries, earthing systems, capacitors, reactors, buildings, and structures – essential components that power our modern world.

Through a lens of knowledge sharing, attendees were equipped with the latest techniques to avoid equipment failures and learned best practices for prolonging the lifespan of high-voltage equipment.

Thought-provoking discussions centered around challenges arising from equipment maintenance, emphasizing how strategic maintenance programs, compliance with standards and regulations, and forward-thinking solutions can pave the path to industry excellence.

As the conference revealed its offerings, an overwhelming wave of positive feedback from attendees became evident.
