Student Visa: Before applying for a Student Visa, you must have a valid Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). EIT will provide you with a CoE once your first semester fees are paid and you have your OSHC confirmed, as indicated in your letter of offer. The Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs will require your CoE when you submit your Student Visa application.
You can apply for one of EIT’s on-campus degrees through one of EIT’s Education Agents or through a direct application.

In November 2019, Perth received regional status from the Australian Federal Government. For international students, this means you may be eligible to stay in Western Australia for four to six years after completing undergraduate or postgraduate study. Students may be eligible to stay in Melbourne for up to 4 years.
Post-study work opportunities are available to all on-campus graduates of EIT, which means you can apply for a Post-Study Work Visa upon completion of your qualification. A Post-Study Work Visa gives you the opportunity to gain more work experience in Australia, after you graduate. And subsequently, you could be eligible for skills assessments required for a Skilled Visa application.
Australian Government announced changes to the Temporary Graduate visa program as part of its recent Migration Strategy. These changes should take effect from 1 July 2024, subject to passage of legislative amendments. You can find more information at Changes to the Temporary Graduate visa programs.
Our Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees require students to undertake 240 hours of paid or unpaid professional Work-Integrated Learning (at no extra cost)*. This can usually include paid or unpaid internships, site visits, contributing to industry projects, and networking activities.
In undertaking internships, through exposure to engineering supervision, projects, and teamwork, you will gain develop an understanding of work expectations, professionalism, organizational policy, and workplace culture.
We assist our on-campus students with resume development, interview techniques, presentation skills, and making contact with our industry partners.
